Complete pdf preloaded on HP systems stuffs up printer installation for dell photo 924 926 printer

Trying to install a Dell photo 924 multifunction printer on a new HP DX7900 preloaded with complete pdf – when I plugged in the printer and the driver Wizard to get the drivers from the Dell 924 CD, it does nothing and does not load the drivers.

After removing complete PDF the printer drivers would install. I remembered coming across a similar problem in the past where and installing complete PDF fixed a printer installation issue for a different model also.
