Configure 3CX softphone to pickup shared parked calls

One limitation of the 3CX softphone is it has no BLF for Shared park, and you cannot dial SP1, SP2 etc. to pickup shared park calls. In order to create a shared park extension that the iphone or android client can dial to pickup shared park calls do the following:

• Add an extension, ideally one low in the list so it appears near the top of the alphabetically listed extensions on your 3cx client e.g. 01 or 11
• Set the First name to Shared Park and Last name to 01
• In the Forwarding rules tab If I am busy or my phone is unregistered, forward calls to: Forward to number SP1

Create further extensions for SP2, SP3 etc. as required

• On the phone client settings show unregistered extensions

• Now on your phone in the Status list you will see the Shared Park extensions
• When someone parks a call, you can click on the relevant extension to pickup the Shared Park call
• If you want a park a call, Transfer, select the Shared park extension from the list and it will park it there.
