Configure Kyocera Ecosys M8130 scan to email through office 365

  • Login to https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/connectors
  • Add a connector to allow emails from the IP address of your office

  • Login to the Kyocera web console with username: Admin password: Admin. Note capitalisation in both.
  • Go to Function Settings -> E-mail and configure as shown below
  • SMTP Server name: yourcompany.mail.protection.outlook.com (you can get this from your dns records)
  • SMTP Port Number: 25
  • Authentication protocol Off
  • Confirm SMTP Security is set to STARTTLS

In your SPF DNS record add the ip4: record for your ip address used in the connector above

v=spf1 ip4:<Static IP Address> include:spf.protection.outlook.com ~all

  • Test the connection to confirm it comes back OK. Submit at the bottom of the page to save the settings.
  • In the Address book you can now add emails addresses for the users.
  • Test scanning to email to confirm it comes through.
