How to link Microsoft Word 2010 to WordPress

  1. Open a word document and click file, save and send and then publish a blog post and finally Publish as Blog Post

  2. Click the register now button
  3. In the drop down menu choose other as this is a self-hosted blog
  4. For the Blog Post URL enter the address of the blog /xmlrpc.php so if the site is http://intranet.site.local then you would enter http://intranet.site.local/xmlrpc.php
  5. Enter your User name and password into the account information fields and then click ok

  6. Now type out you post or if you have an existing document then you can just hit the publish button. It is best to do a draft and check the way it looks on the site so you can also add any tags or categories to the article.
