The latest entourage update for office 2008 is causing issues for users connecting to Microsoft exchange. The update removes the ldap settings from the client and as a result there is no connection to exchange. To fix the issue follow the steps listed below.
- Click entourage and then account settings
- Select your exchange account
- Click the advanced tab and under ldap server enter in the details that are listed in the general tab at the bottom of the screen
- Click the server requires login check box and then click OK
Entourage can take up to 5 minutes before it will try and access the exchange server using the updated address.
