Fake emails from Australian taxation office phishing site

We have recently been seeing emails come through from refunds@ato.gov.au that looks like the below.

This is a phishing email which will attempt to gather your information

If you click on the link you will see it takes you not to an ATO.gov.au site but www.trifecta.com

This is a copy of the ATO site, but you will find the menus and links on either side do not work. If you enter your email name and date of birth now possible for them to commit identity fraud.

You should always observe the address in any links in emails and also make sure you have effective and have antivirus on your desktop’s which identify fake or known bad links.
